Part of She's Arkansas Heritage Collection, the Crawford County Courthouse sits at the corner of Third and Main Streets in Van Buren, AR, the seat of county government since 1842. The current structure, with its central clock tower, dates to c. 1890. The walls of the original courthouse built in c. 1841 and burned down in 1876 were incorporated into the building we see today. The Crawford County Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Van Buren Historic District.
