Part of She's Arkansas Heritage Collection, the Royal Theater is set along Market Street in Benton. Originally built in 1920, the theater’s facade dates to its 1948-49 remodel. It was later bought and renovated by actor Jerry Van Dyke, who lived on a ranch near Hot Springs. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003, it is now owned by the theater’s “Royal Players”.
