Part of She's Arkansas Heritage Collection, the history of the War Eagle Mill in Rogers, Arkansas dates back to 1832 when the first mill was built at the banks of War Eagle Creek by Sylvanus and Catherine Blackburn. That mill would later be destroyed along with two more that followed, the second of those burning down in 1924. The property would sit idle until 1973 when the mill was re-built for the fourth time. A working gristmill today, it has been serving the community ever since and is also home to a store, restaurant, and the renowned annual War Eagle Mill craft fair held every year here in October.
